Tricia Cole

I would like to take a moment to tell you a little bit about who I am and what has inspired me to open a Salt Therapy Facility. My name is Tricia Cole, I was born and raised in Salisbury NC. I am an Air Force Veteran. I am a joint owner in Salisbury Salt Spa. I am so excited to bring this type of health and wellness therapy to the community in which I live in. I first discovered Salt Therapy while visiting Asheville, NC. I was so impressed with the physical benefits Salt Therapy had to offer, me and my business partner decided to start this venture together. One of the main benefits of Salt Therapy is helping with Respiratory conditions and symptoms. Within the last several years I had 2 relatives pass away from COPD. I firmly believe this type of Therapy could have benefited my relatives and helped relieve some of the conditions associated with COPD. Salt has properties that help to dry up mucus in the respiratory tract. Another reason I am excited to start this venture is from my own personal life experience. Back in 2011 I was diagnosed with a health condition that had me really evaluating my overall health and wellness. Throughout this journey I realized it is imperative to focus on your mind, body, and soul. While the physical benefits speak for itself, this type of therapy also helps to relieve stress and anxiety from the negative ions produced from the salt rocks. And what better way to relax from a hard day at work then to come lounge back in a zero- gravity chair for 45 minutes as you listen to soft meditation music.

Tresie Dunaway

I would like to take a moment to tell you a little bit about who I am and what has inspired me to open a Salt Therapy Facility. My name is Tresie Dunaway, I was born and raised in Salisbury NC. I am a joint owner of Salisbury Salt Spa. I also experienced Salt Therapy with Tricia Cole in Asheville, NC. I was so impressed with the relaxation and meditation benefits Salt Therapy had to offer. I work full time and I believe this type of Salt Therapy can help others within our community. After a full day of work this type of environment will allow me to relax and quite my mind while breathing in the salt particles in a calming atmosphere. By relaxing and meditating I am can destress which in turn helps my body not to release epinephrine and cortisol. Too much of these hormones released into my body can have a negative impact.
